It’s mindblowing how much living, significance, history and memory can take place in a mappable area.
A single item at a certain time on a point that’s in this map but invisible to it can hold great significance to the people who were in that place, at that time, behind the walls of mapped but enclosed spaces.
A bag of peas
A condensation ring under a metal beer can.
(Earth, United States, New Jersey, Roselle Park, Street, Street direction, house number, floor, room, object, date, time) * number of people (where memories are stored) = event memory locations.
But then! The narratives! They can be a single narrative (agreed upon group experience) or multiple narratives (individual perspectives) and with the variety of individual minds, emotions, biases, worldviews, varying attentiveness along with each’s ability to hold conflicting narratives simultaneously…. it all points to how amazingly complex things really are, and it’s strange and beautiful in its own way.
