It’s funny, you mention about dopamine raising and how ideas and even names can inspired dopamine hits; having a robot reference linked to me and it was time for me to trim my beard. I use a dog-shaver (ok it’s supposed to be for humans but come on, they’re dog groomer things) So I get bored easily doing things the same way twice anyway (ADHD, always needing dopamine hits I guess) So with the robot reference on me, I decided to shave in a grid pattern like this: I dragged the shaver from left to right from top to down, then I went from top to down right to left First time I ever tried it like that, the way a robot would logically do it maybe and, well, it worked just fine. caught every hair. No different than mowing grass in a grid, although I would’ve thought the different contours of the face would get in the way but nope, worked just fine.
