It’s far more commonly known now than 3-4 yrs ago. It also has a harsh sound, so even not knowing what it means, it “sounds like” a no-no word.

Also, having that harsh no-no word sound to it, it’s JUST the kind of words little kids will pick up.

It’s also unnecessarily, uninterestingly complicated.

Most of the ‘boi/boy’ ones reveal themselves. But cuck is oddly specific yet it lacks a coherent unique set of characteristics beyond word def. Might as well just say “wimp”.

First you need to be heterosexual and male. Then, you need a wife. Those initial reqs for cuck eliminates a LOT of people it can be successfully used against.

===

I’ve seen it used in a lot of places online. It’s a very common.insult word online but it never had the slam-bam power of a good insult word.

===

For some people exchanging insults is all they know. I’m fine with it as intercourse if it’s creative but cuck is just … meh.

===

I used to amuse myself in 2015/early 16 by asking every time, “what is cuck?” and waiting for the copypasta answer. Then I’d mock it as an insult term. Satisfying.

===

Occasionally, if I’d see a right wing, short sentence type ABOUT to use it, I’d call them it and watch them get mad for stealing ‘their word’.
