It was the 3rd watching that it really ‘clicked’ – and I love time travel stories; I was on a binge of ANY time travel stuff I could find between the closing of the original Doctor Who in 1989 and the reboot (which shocked me) in 2005. Even things like time cop, highlander, sliders, whatever. I’d always wish for more complex time travel narratives and this delivered enough that it took me 3 watches to see enough to understand what was happening. Didn’t care for it the first time, figured they neglected something. The second time, no, I knew it was me that was missing something and 3rd time I could see it.
