It was perfect for its needs. It was superior to copy/paste for a multi-column PDF. I had to bring a table of contents from a PDF into a spreadsheet so I could work with it. What I did with it is create for myself citations in “TURABIAN” formatting for every part of the table of contents. This way when I come across that section in the course and have to write on it, I don’t have to worry about formatting the citation correctly nor will I have any trouble finding the appropriate section of the textbook. The textbook is all over the place (it’s on World Religions) and focusing is tricky for me there. This gives me the ability to use the logic that was built-in to the PDF file to extract the headings of the sections of the book, rather than relying on my EYES to “notice” _OH THAT’S A HEADING? THAT’S IMPORTANT!_ which is something my brain does not want to do.
