It depends how much attachment you place on the number you get. It measures a particular type of thinking and (in theory) your abilities on that.

If you haven’t already, I’d suggest a multiple intelligences test. While in some sense it amounts to a personality-typing as far as “preferences” go, I found it can be a useful sorting tool and can help give a direction for focus.

[this is one people have commonly used online for multiple intelligence tests but there’s others] is that if you get a number you DON’T like for an IQ test, you’ll have _another_ avenue of research to turn to.
[also I think the ‘real’ IQ tests aren’t online, so the quality varies]
