Wow, I was in the incubator at the hospital when this came out smile emoticon
I love this line though:
“It ain’t too bad the way you’re using me
‘Cause I sure am using you to do the things you do”

Oh wait – no I was home by then. Sept 1972. I was 9 months old then tongue emoticon Are you an aphid? Nah, you’re an autonomous being. So are aphids though. Still, I think the way people treat people of their time at different life stages can definitely be improved.

I heard the line “Temporal Abuse” through a Google Translate of a French news article about the new school scheduling system they’d put into place. A psychologist called it Temporal Abuse (according to Google Translate, anyway), and that phrase really grabbed me.
So, yesterday I registered the domain temporal abuse and wrote a few things on it. it has promise as a concept I think. It’s not that it’s any new per se, just a nice catch-all category for a life stress giver that’s partially fixable.

We abuse time, time abuses us, we abuse our existence, putting it in time.
Then there is “all abuse has its time”.

My reply:
I like that and I’m ok ’til the last bit. “All abuse has its time”. I know it does, but that’s something I don’t think needs to be necessary.
