“is it possible to create a computer programme that can answer any question in the universe accurately?” and here is my answer:
Only if it’s possible for humans potentially be to answer every question in the Universe Computers are our creations and our assumptions about “How things work” are inherently built into them. If it’s not possible for a human to conceive of it, then a computer cannot conceive of it.
It may speed up the process; a simulated human brain may come up with ideas that we might not come up with ourselves for another 5000 years.
But as long as our assumptions are built into it; and no animals or aliens are forthcoming to add their input, a computer, as long as they are created by humans, will be unable to conceive of anything that can’t potentially be conceived by a human.
However, it may do it faster. It might take a few generations of humans, or numbers of humans working in parallel to add up to a trillion with a pencil and paper but we could do it. Computers just speed it up.
