Interface between other computer and you, for message reading, etc.

When reading messages, mail, news, etc., thisprogram saves the text in a
scrollable window up in the top 20 lines.  The last 4/5 lines are used
for interfacing with the other computer system.

The . switches between windows.

In this way, a long message goes into the top.  the bottom screen says, “More”.
You hit the spacebar or enter or whatever to read more.  More of it appears on
top.

When it’s done, hit the .

Then you are in the top window.  In the top window, you can scroll through text,
search for strings, all that funky stuff.  When you’re ready to continue onto
the next message, you hit . and you’re back to interfacing with the other
computer.

Sample session in next message.
