Interestingly – and I know this because I know folks in this zone for years — “nonbinary” has been around long enough to: a) get a nick name : enby [get it: n b?] 2. It has its OWN stereotypes now. Certain expected non-binary attitudes and traits and expectations. So now: c) Some shoot for NON-TRINARY – the trinary being: male, female, and enby. 4. That’s where you get the explosion of other names, once you leave the trinary of male/female/enby.
