in trying to puzzle out a plausible (if sketchy) biological “echo” going from biology to the “concept of association”, which “boxes and lines” diagrams represent, the loosest connection i know of is metaphorical (so far). i know that the next stage will involve taking a look at some associations and finding types and how they break into similars. i’m thinking every loose association has sets of smaller “sames” connecting them. a synonym might have almost identical sames but metaphors very few. the next question is : if multiple sames makes an association, how is flow between different domains decided? is it more and less? can pressure differences be enough to explain and will it work specifically in all cases? i will see who has worked on a similar breakdown of the nature of concept association. it asks the question : HOW ARE THESE ASSOCIATED THINGS NOT ASSOCIATED?

i know that the next stage will involve taking a look at some associations and finding types and how they break into similars. i’m thinking every loose association has sets of smaller “sames” connecting them.

a synonym might have almost identical sames but metaphors very few.

the next question is : if multiple sames makes an association, how is flow between different domains decided?

is it more and less?

can pressure differences be enough to explain and will it work specifically in all cases?

i will see who has worked on a similar breakdown of the nature of concept association.

it asks the question : HOW ARE THESE ASSOCIATED THINGS NOT ASSOCIATED?
