Perhaps it is no coincidence that our quantum mechanical theories coincide with our visual system functions: After all, we are the same people making quantum mechanical theories and have the same visual systems. It’s likely the quantum mechanical systems were based upon knowledge we were capable of, because we are capable of simultaneous observation of illusionary foreground/background if we’re trained, just as it’s possible to comprehend simultaneous states even if we can never be certain of them.
In short, the limitations to both are perceptual and very human but we reach the same stopping point in both. It’s only human after all.
