In short, if you follow these ratios, you quite literally have the recipe to build a Universe that works.

I can kind of see why though. The anthropic principle involves fiddling with values to see where we wouldn’t exist. The multiverse does much the same and is a conclusion based solely upon equating mathematical results with reality.

But super-symmetry is quite measurable. Super-symmetry, should it work, turns quantum mechanics into a recipe book of simple ratios.

In short, if you follow these ratios, you quite literally have the recipe to build a Universe that works.

I like the focus it brings. The Anthropic Principle and the Multiverse are a little more “woo”-ish, and somewhat the equivalent of saying, “If we add just TWO MORE CUPS of flour to the dough, we’ll break the mixing beaters and even if we COULD mix the dough, it couldn’t rise properly to make bread”. In short, kind of a time-waster.
