In dialup days, I would download all the messages from a local BBS onto a floppy disk sneak in replies while at work.

LIVED on it as much as humanly possible since 1989. In dialup days, I would download all the messages from a local BBS onto a floppy disk sneak in replies while at work.

Then I’d come home, dialup to the BBS’ and upload my replies as SOON as I got home from work.

Then, the next morning before work, I’d download the NEXT batch of replies, and bring THAT to work.

Years. Did that for years. Always-on Internet is truly a dream-come-true that never gets old for me.
