In a court of law, yes.
Prior to a court of law, guilt is implied as “possible”. That’s why there is an investigation.
There’s a world of difference between a “metaphorical noose” that makes someone look less shiny in other people’s eyes vs hanging until dead with feet twitching.
Kavanaugh was no prize prior to this. Find another. Neil Gorsuch didn’t have this. Why? He’s competent.
Kavanaugh’s life isn’t ruined. He has a wealth of support and will have speaking engagements and work until his dying day.
Even if he was a virgin until his wife as he says and never drank a drop of liquor, he was unfit to be a Justice.
Kavanaugh’s level of political partisanship is one reason why he is unfit, and a very big one. I want an interpreter of the Constitution, not a game player.
Neil Gorsuch is strict just the way you like it.
I can handle that, even though I’m a “living document” guy.
But Kavanaugh is trash.
Ronald, your record is skipping. I’m talking human to human here:
Neil Gorsuch wasn’t derailed.
He’s not trash.
Kavanaugh is trash.
Maybe the next will be more suitable.
If it went to a vote, I’d Nay on Kavanaugh, yes.
Not necessarily. I think every Supreme Court needs both strict interpreters as well as “spirit of the Constitution”. It’s balance.
Everywhere else? It’s a noisy 4th grade lunchroom.
