In 1985, Susan Brennan produced this computer generated caricature of Ronald Reagan based on D’arcy Thomson’s work but including salient facial features.
Moving further ahead in time, now I’m investigating Basel Face Model [Morphable 3D models]. I’m having difficulty finding pre-compiled software to play with the database but I noticed it’s in MATLAB. Unfortunately, I don’t have MATLAB but I found Octave is supposed to be mostly compatible… so I’m _hoping_ I’ll be able to do something with this.
