Well, you could play a game of Department of Treasury and print your own money at home. Then you could work with that. Might be more fun than being stressed.

Before I played with stocks (years ago; don’t have the $ for it now ’cause I spent all my gains – took 12 years though!) , all the great “how to’s” had you start off with monopoly money ’til you get used to how it works.

I just dove straight in and dipped my toe in and learned as I went. $20 here, $10 there. I guess I’m a bit masochistic?

I’m also great at giving advice and not following it, probably because it’s bad advice. I have equally awful financial issues in other departments and only pretend to have it all together.
