I’m staying focused right now on Deleuze and Mathematics – really trying to grasp and absorb it, as it clicks with me tremendously well. I’m “supposed to” read from sources but I’ve never been good at that. I’m good with abstracts and commentaries and critics and once I get a feel for a field and influence, THEN I can dive into the original. But if I go in naked and alone into an original text, I can’t process properly. I need the cacophony of opinion and analysis to bring in with me. Wish I could do otherwise but I never could.
