I’m REALLY liking the concept of metastable heteroclinic channels over phase locked loops BUT I have to acknowledge that we _can_ accomplish *similar* results by swapping back and forth between PLLs and the various other non-linear models as needed and/or use other alternative systems to describe CONSIDERING that metastable heteroclinic channels is _less_ known EVEN THOUGH it is potentially more descriptive. This was a hard one to accept but I have to: it becomes political too often and I gotta get past that.

“‘Metastability in electronics is the ability of a digital electronics system to persist for an unbounded time in an unstable equilibrium or metastable state. … In metastable states, the circuit may be unable to settle into a stable ‘0’ or ‘1’ logic level within the time required for proper circuit operation.”

See, imagine stable 0-1 logic level as a special form of metastablity.
