I’m ok with that. What I’m not ok with is that in the original message “your child” is “your (default) child” which is “your (non-black) child” – all implied, unstated, invisible to white eyes.

I saw a cultural phenomenon with Black Panther like I never saw before. I admired the movie because of its attention to historical and cultural detail and it’s one of the few movies I saw in the past 10 yrs.
It was worth it.
But I’m not claiming it. It wasn’t my history on the screen.

It’s white-washed, hand-picked black history characters Natanael. Like the inventor with the peanuts and stuff.
I was a grown adult before I learned about the importance of Black Panthers in single-handedly, drastically improving healthcare in black communities in the early 1970s.
The difference they made is staggering. But what’s in standard US History books? You won’t hear that.
=====
I didn’t see any of that Natanael, not here on my thread.
I do a thing called listening.
======

=====
I saw mild gaslighting attempts. Is that what you call refuting?
