I’m not undermining my point, although I understand how it looks like that: I’m not criticizing thanking God. It’s just a nitpick I have really. I sometimes hear miracle used as a substitute for, “We have no idea HOW it’s even POSSIBLE that this impossible thing happened”, but when taken as “fantastic” as you said, then you’re right and I was wrong. Just a pet peeve of mine because I’ve worked hard on projects and occasionally someone will say, “It sure is lucky” when in fact it wasn’t luck at all but hard work and skill. But taken as “fantastic”, that’s fine. I was wrong.

Don’t see it as a miracle. I’m grateful but I have no doubt that the first response teams received excellent training and used their skills to coordinate quickly, efficiently and effectively to the task at hand which was finding and removing the source of the gunfire.

It’s a miracle more people weren’t killed.

I’ve worked with well trained teams before. It’s not miraculous. That’s good leadership and training.

“I have always admired your ” neutrality” Ken. No comment needed, but I really think you’d like to see this _____
gone. I can only hope it happens before his four years are up.

Might be regional differences or upbringing. I always reserved the word miracle for the truly inexplicable. Wasn’t an everyday word where I grew up and still isn’t for me.So I guess it just sounded out of place to me.

He’s trying I guess but man it’s cringey. “Just a big storm, not like Katrina”. I guess he got the news that this would be “Trump’s Katrina” and he’s trying hard to make it not that in his own special way.

Thanks Scott. I want to see it gone. His behavior embarrasses the crap out of me daily. It started getting better when that general started firing people but now anytime somebody does something RIGHT, Trump goes and blows it. Rex T. wanted to negotiated with NK. I was so relieved. A rational voice. What does Trump do? Exactly what he did. I’m TRYING to stay Mr. Neutral but damn he makes it impossible.

I hear you, you’ve definitely impressed and have inspired me with your patience and rational views

I spent Jan-March avoiding ANY news about Trump. 90 day break from the long election season. Tempted to do it again. There’s something new every day and it makes me want to throw my phone. I just trust that the ‘powers that be’ are working hard in the background to flip him out of there. Counting on it.
He doesn’t even bother me as much as the people that lap up his every word like it’s gold and defend him as if he’s their Daddy and this the playground and I just said something mean about their Daddy. ugh.

Thank you for sharing the video with me. The incredible disrespect he’s been showing people who just went through a disaster is staggering and.. well, I’ll probably post a rant about it later today.
