I watched the numbers grow from hundreds in mass graves to thousands.. and once it hit thousands, suddenly it was hundreds of thousands in mass graves. But a year later after a long forensic investigating, the true number was around 1200 in mass graves. It’s still a LOT of people but it was a vivid lesson to me on “watch the numbers”.
