I’m an unabashed fan of Ad Council. Somehow they distill a generally mostly acceptable American Patriotism without Nationalism, although a bit of it can seem dated to jaded eyes. It puts responsibility upon the citizen and away from institutions, government and corporations but does it in such a way that you feel a part of something greater and noble. How do they do that? No idea.
