If you have it, you work on yourself. If you know someone who has it, you work around it.

NPD isn’t a horrible thing. I know a number of people who suffer from it. THEY don’t know they’re suffering but they got the diagnosis and are rather proud of it in fact. So, you learn to work around them. NPD isn’t something to be scared of. It’s just something one has to work around when a family member has it.

It’s not a big bad scary thing. Same with Oppositional Defiant Disorder. If you have it, you work on yourself. If you know someone who has it, you work around it.
