If women are feeling vulnerable in those spaces, then they should speak up. I mean, if they’re adults, they certainly have the right and ability to do so. Or are they being silenced somehow?
I’ve always been a Yank through circumstance of birth. But my heart’s always been Canadian I think. I don’t think I’d like the weather much at all, but I’d probably find the polite-to-strangers culture agreeable.
I was raised in New Jersey. There, you’re encouraged to SAY WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT BECAUSE FREE SPEECH MAN AND NOBODY’S GONNA TRAMPLE ON MY RIGHTS TO FREE SPEECH BECAUSE I’M AN AMERICAN AND FUCK YOU ALL JUST GO DIE ALREADY and then they’d vaguely apologize and buy you a beer.
I just wondered because I’ve heard droves of men complaining but only a few women complaining (although I’ve heard plenty of women complaining about men trying to complain FOR them). Maybe there’s a women-silencing-women thing happening that is outside of my view.
Are liberal women silencing conservative women in America?
