If taxes are used wisely, I’m fine with them. Doubt there’s been a piece of land to be born on that doesn’t require some form of tax somehow to whoever claims the land you were born on. Still, poor always end up paying more ($100 means more to a poor person than a rich – forget percentages) – and it’s the rich that can afford to manipulate taxes.
