If someone asks, I may or may not say. If they guess, whether they guess wrong or right, I may or may not say. When I was long-haired as a teenager in the 1980s, more than a few times a waitress or somebody else would see me as “one of the girls” and that was fine. I don’t understand people of my generation suddenly having problems with gender things; do they not remember the androgyny in the late 70s/all of the 1980s?
