3 years ago today, I made a video of every website that I had visited during the 7 months prior to that. Then I recorded a few frames of video by hand.
I’d wondered if simply seeing a flash of these could bring my thinking back to each of those subjects. Part of what I call “The Project”.
Well, three years later, I can conclude that: Yes, this worked as a very compressed memory retrieval device for me: an index of a part of my brain that these quick images help me retrieve. I’m remembering these subjects even without pausing.
