I’d shoot myself if I had to be consistent. I like my creativity.

It’s true. The formula for fame and fortune is pick one thing and do it over and over and over again.

It’s the reason I didn’t go to Julliard Music school as a kid. I was close. Everybody wanted me to. Took lessons and all. But then I realized, even at 10 years old, I’d eventually be in a place where I’d have to play the same things over and over and over again to greater and greater perfection.

The thought scared the crap out of it – it’s not my nature. So I backed out. Glad I did too. Not that I couldn’t have done it, but I knew I’d shoot myself if I had to be consistent. I like my creativity.

But if you’re CAPABLE of consistency, go for it. It’s where the money is at.
