I’d say that any oddities will be coming from the PR/marketing departments; they usually fly their own way a lot – creatives aren’t always aligned with the company as most companies those sizes are staunchly conservative but distribute political funds to anyone who might win just to have a hat in the ring

    Well, that level of cooperation usually extends to golfing together, seeing each other’s wives on the side and little individual deals.
    Public corporations are forced to be transparent about a good amount of their activities and money-movements so it’s possible to track an awful lot of what they do

But then again… who knows. CEOs are basically heads of small countries and behave that way.
I remember information flow was really interesting; the lowest levels would “mickey mouse” any reports going up at each level so by the time the big bosses got information, it was sanitized, cleaned up and looked great. So they never worked with the right information
