there’s a bit of mean-girl in objectivity; “Well, EVERYBODY says you’re a geek, so that means, you’re a geek and if you think otherwise, you’re crazy.”

So I think assertions of truth should include both subjective and outsider’s social perspectives as well to retain a balance of integrity.
