I wouldn’t say most but it describes a particular type of man and a particular type of woman, socially conditioned – and I think a lot of it age related as well; as a lot of this kind of role-playing dating silliness folks grow out of as they nest and understand each other as individuals better and not as the adolescent roles they learned to play That is to say, I see it as a common trope and it definitely has a reality and reasons, but we likely differ on the notion of permanence of it.
