I wish I knew that hyperfocus was a normal ADHD thing because I’ve got boatloads of that. I’m ok with hyperfocus — I don’t like the feeling of distraction. What helps is reminding myself: This is normal for me which can get me through that uncomfortable distracted feeling. [I was already ok with hyperfocus – just didn’t know it had a name]
