I was the #1 sprinter in grade school – ages 8, 9 and 10. I’d be nearly dead by the end of the sprint, but I was always in front. But the 1/2 mile / mile endurance? I was dead last every time. I loved seeing #1 KEN UDUT on a big poster in the gymnasium though. It made up for my inability to do pullups. I sucked at those.
