I was a believer in 3rd party politics, whatever the party. Voted for H-Ross Perot twice because he was different and found him interesting.

Never saw anything by Bill Hicks. Don’t know who William Burroughs are. Not sure what talking points I said that make you think these things.

I had a few issues that were important to me but didn’t get much into big politics.
Closest to that was focusing on human rights things, very basic stuff.
Had an interest in unschooling and alternative education as a young teenager, got myself into a private school with some essays.
I believed that any organization that works with large amount of people has a duty to be responsible to those people in some very basic ways, so that includes schools, governments, churches, corporations, prisons.
So my interests in politics were extremely narrow and very specific and limited or very general. I didn’t pay much mind to “democrat vs republican’ stuff.
