I tied together a bunch of connected thoughts over the last few days earlier today and I _think_ what this is, is a description of the distinction between spacetime and a spatiotemporal database. A spatiotemporal database is big enough to hold everything including every relationship to everything else BUT it is ultimately a gigantic text file, flat file spreadsheet. Yet, as humans, we don’t know time, space or spacetime without events or objects. There’s mathematics describing them and drawings of grids to give us a notion of fields but the grids aren’t spacetime anymore than paper is spacetime.
