I think you don’t know a large enough variety of people. I’ve done roofing but it’s not my thing. My brother-in-law though who loves heights will jump at the chance and has. I’ve cleaned toilets and picked up garbage (age 13-18, church after school job). I didn’t mind it. I wouldn’t mind it today if it needed doing. Messes need to be cleaned you know. Picking fruit crops? I’ve had gardens and done it gladly. I think MAYBE you’re thinking in terms of MASSIVE centralized operations. But imagine much smaller communities? It’s conceivable. You can’t envision it?
