My view of things is that: chaos is the rule. Order is the exception. Patterns emerge out of chaos by phase locking of chaotic particles.

Probably is. I first learned about chaos and complexity theories back as a teenager. Now I’m 46 and this set of assumptions (that order arises from chaos and at the start of order, rules like logic begin).

So, I always see a “TV snow” beginning, then coupling relationships, then more complex formations.

I’d love to hear your thoughts about time some time. It’s probably my favorite thing to think about and sometimes the thing I hate thinking about the most, especially when I don’t have enough of it.

No, but I think there may be a level we just can’t get to and the level just above that is our fundamental level. But I hope we can access all levels.

Oh quasicrystal is a MUCH better description than chaos or undifferentiated.

It’s better than statistical randomness. It has pragmatic value too, for engineering and such, esp nano size.

Thank you for bringing up quasicrystal tiling. I’d forgotten about those. I usually stare in awe at tilings with gaps like this and move to other subjects.
