I think it’s a case of: do what you can. Revamping the entire clothing industry is a huge fight. Fighting for removing one single statue here and there is easy and doable and makes an immediate change. They’re really on entirely different levels. It’s not hard to remove statues. But uprooting an industry? Globalization? It’s not hypocrisy to fight statues while wearing foreign made clothing. They’re different scopes of fight altogether.
