I think CBT done in this mindset is equivalent to MoL/PCT.

The marvelous thing about MoL / PCT is that it allows everybody to be normal for themselves, like a gyroscope keeps the same level no matter what is happening around them.

We try to return the locus of control to ourselves, to wherever our gyroscopes are set. If they’re set in a manner that’s not socially or personally functional, ,then they need readjustment and that is done by shifting self-beliefs and giving simple techniques to help regain a sense of control, rather than making the problem worse by bad habits.

I think CBT done in this mindset is equivalent to MoL/PCT.

The gyroscope is my analogy. They use a rubber band analogy. smile emoticon I just discovered it yesterday morning and I’m quite excited.
