I tend to analogize myself to an alien who entered the timestream at a particular part in human history, to witness life-as-a-human

Well, what I do is cut out the pieces that I like (once I realize that it’s part of a script) and let them fall into a pile.

I hope they’ll self-organize into something tongue emoticon

The neat thing is: Once you’ve removed all the scripts, if you’re there witnessing the last script disappearing… there *is* somebody left: The Witness!

I tend to analogize myself to an alien who entered the timestream at a particular part in human history, to witness life-as-a-human, with all of the surprises therein. I’m still me but I’m also still this alien observer, documenting the thoughts and feelings of this being I inhabit. It works smile emoticon

They might. I’m never quite sure – I’m still trying to figure THIS human out. I HOPE it extrapolates to the species as a whole, because I’ll eventually have to give my final report. tongue emoticon
