I suppose it depends on the field of inquiry and at what level of “zoom” one stops at. Granularity. Zoom in a little more, and the truths bifurcate further and further as the concepts display their tenuous threads connecting previously unseen subjects. Zoom out and the distinctions blur and cease being important. I’m skeptical about individual people being capable of outputting objectivity. But hashing it out it’s possible to decide upon what’s seen by all parties and stamped with the authority of objective truth. I consider it working truths, enough to get us through whatever field of inquiry we’re in. But as needs change, the parameters get a little more precise, then yesterday’s objective truths need closer revisions to take into account new needs.
