I spend 3 years on Vine, made 15,000, 480x480x16.7 million color, 6.3 second looping videos just to find out. I didn’t scratch the surface — not to mention the sound.

I’m hands on 🙂 [oh, and my Vines are all crap. But what a variety of crap that’s possible is mindblowing]

THIS is another one of my lifelong fascinations – which is another reason why I’m saying to myself: PAUSE. SIMPLIFY.

Oh, that’s a man after my heart. A few years ago, I found the largest free English Thesaurus (MobySaurus). I started with the word “WORD” and I cross linked everything that linked to anything in it and ended up with 5 distinct categories.

Categories of what? I still don’t know. Looks like whole, opposite,, confusing, detail/skips, “whisp” to me.

But I had to put it aside.

[oh and i put it on archive free too ’cause I’m not looking to make $$, just dot it for the art of it I guess]

 I’m probably a bit nuts but I try to make the most out of ADHD / whatever it is that drives me. Probably running away from death but whatever. It’s fun 🙂 I’m normal for me.

 That’s the thing: I don’t KNOW what’s important to focus on. So I focus on what’s in front of me until I get bored or have a product. Then I stop. Then I pick up another thing.

 yes, I have similar focal tricks. Rules that help. “Go as far as you can go where you can get back from”. “Find the median”. “Use the index and find the biggest glob”.One of my favorite library book tricks?Rest the book on its spine and see what it falls open to.That’s the popular pages 🙂

 Once upon a time, I was going to read through a Doctors’ medical training book (Reference book).DId the spine trick. Read the thing it said.Did it again. Tubuculosis.I was 2 minutes into reading it before I thought about WHO WOULD BE READING THIS?Put the book back and washed my hands 3x.

I’m awful at tracking. I forget quickly. Yet, oddly, I’ll recognize familiar paths when I’m on them again and it’s always a surprise.

So in 2013 I started saving everything I write. My own Google Search for my brain.

It helps a lot, although it’s not organized how I’d want. I don’t know how to categorize beyond date/time.

 I _love_ that almost any question I have is “out there”. It’s a real global brain, mess as it is. So, we’re in good company.
=====
Oh, that’s what I live for (both things). Finding that SINGLE thesis that outlines just what you wanted to find out but NOBODY ELSE out there has it, it’s uniquely satisfying.

and I don’t know if you’re crazy or not, or if I am, but I think we’re definitely cut of similar cloth
