I shouldn’t be down on group programming; I was the last of an era of individual programmers who was “the guy” that did “the thing” and they needed to keep because he was “the only guy” that knew how to do “the thing”.
They were smart for eliminating this type plus it opened up the field for more programmers to come in. They do things in groups – group work – working together in groups of four and such, all taking on parts of a task together. It’s actually a good idea – far better than the hero/villain guy.
