I remember my going through it just a few years ago. What’s amazing to me is what happens to memory. Prior to that, they can remember all sorts of details way back to when they’re about 3 years old or so. But once “crossing over”, that period of time gets fuzzy. They no longer can remember quite so clearly what happened when they were 4 or 5 years old. But they can remember all KINDS of new _social_ knowledge. Brimming to overflow with social knowledge.
