I often use chatbots to help brainstorm, feeding them into each other (as “knives sharpen knives”), getting an historical look at various historical education systems, real and imagined, to see which ones ‘fit’ my personality (in the ways the bots know me), and one of them discovered this dynamic tension in my interest: between autonomy and scaffolding. When feeding this back into the other bot, it noticed what I was drifing towards is: a cybernetic feedback loop : a feedback loop that constantly adjusts autonomy and support.
