I never liked my generation, Gen X. Hated them in the 80s. Never related to most of it. I found out why once: I’m apparently part of a subset (REMEMBER THESE ARE MOSTLY MARKETING TERMS TO KNOW HOW TO SELL PRODUCTS NOT SOCIAL): known as: “2nd Wave GenX / 8-bit tech, future-oriented” — I think it was something that talked about “3 waves of GenX”, – the 3rd wave being the Nirvana, the 1st wave being the 70s-disco, and the 2nd wave being home computing, arcades, Duran-Duran, along with the regular high teen sex rate, high teen suicide rate, high teen drug use, etc.
