I like when people get stuck in an era though. It makes it easier to identify their time period when they were happiest / most enjoyed life. People using 2011 memes were very happy 5 years ago or their community was at its peak 5 years ago. They had a creative period, which stopped but they back-reference the “good ol’ times”. It brings back better memories, better times for them.
