I like 3rd wave feminism. It’s been effective at educating even people who claim to be against it. Simplified misrepresentations and bad logic “gotchas” show up everywhere and even amongst the dripping sarcasm, there’s some learning happening. I first learned of intersectionality in 90/91 as part of feminism and watched knowledge it grow and spread. But I never thought I’d see the day when right wing youngish to middle aged men would write a paragraph of sarcastic characterizations using intersectionaity as a concept. Ok, they’re getting wrong conclusions as their logic is unsound, BUT the concept is at least partially “out there” among people who previously wouldn’t have had a clue. It’s a sign of progress.

Nah. A Republican always follows a Democrat. The winner should have had a landslide but it was paltry.

That’s almost as bad as actually believing “we memed Trump in”. The party change is systemic, not media based.

Some have imaginary friends. Mike’s got imaginary feminists.

Hint: Most “anti-SJWs” (which make up the anti-3rd-wave) probably got their info from things like “Gamer’s Guide to Feminism” and memes. This is why they sound like aliens when they come into a discussion about feminism thinking they’re knowledgeable.

The good thing is, they usually use very predictable conversation patterns.
