I kill equipment. Keyboards, piano strings, game controllers and the spines of paperbacks.

naw.  I kill equipment.
Busted piano strings as a kid playing too hard.  [THWANG! – bass strings usually – my left hand is a monster]
Bent typewriter keys when I went through a steampunk phase.. .still.. kinda in it… and picked up a manual typewriter or three.
Broke the caps off computer keyboards or the mechanisms or the springs back when they had springs, and the little plastic scissor style they use now.
Broke my Intellivision controllers, a friend’s NES controller, my sister’s husbands xBox controller and my ne’s first Wii controller.

[I replaced them all.. with better ones]

I found a picture of me at the age of 7.  I was holding an Incredible Hulk coloring book.  I was obsessed with him before I discovered Doctor Who.

So yeah.  No regrets. 🙂

PS – I also dogear pages in library books and write in books that I own.  I’m a monster.  First thing I do when I get a paperback?  I crack its spine.

[except for gaming controllers, I don’t break friend’s things though.  I treat them carefully and they look the same or better when I return them]
